Kanakhal is small town 04 kms far from Haridwar. Kankhal is mostly known for its famous Daksehswar Mahadev Temple, various ashrams such as Maa Anandamoyi Ashram and old houses.
Daksheswara Mahadev Temple
This ancient temple is most famous place in Kankhal. The present temple was built by Queen Dhankaur in 1810 AD and rebuilt in 1962. According to mythological story Sati, Lord Shiva 's first wife, burnt herself in the yagya kund. This temple is widely visited by the devotees of Lord Shiva.
Anandamoyi Ma Ashram
This quaint ashram was the residence of this Hindu saint Sri Anandamoyi Ma (1896–1982), and also houses her samādhi shrine and a museum dedicated to her, in the vicinity.
Hari Har Ashram
This ashram is famous for its Parad Shivling (Mercury Shivling)and Rudraksha tree.
Jain Ashram and Temple
Jain Temple in new attraction in Haridwar. The temple was built in 1990 with amazing Jain architectural manner with Jaisalmer stone. Temple is dedicated to Shri Chintamani Parshwnath Bhagwan.

Tour starts at 14:30 from your hotel. Our guide will meet you at hotel and take you to the eco friendly Auto Rickshaw. Later you will visit Daksehswar Mahadev Temple, Maa Anandamoyi Ashram and Hari Har Ashram. In last we will drop you at Har Ki Pauri for Evening Ganga Aarti.
