Nainital : is a Himalayan resort town in the Kumaon region of India’s Uttarakhand state, at an elevation of roughly 2,000m. Formerly a British hill station, it’s set around Nainital Lake, a popular boating site with Naina Devi Hindu Temple on its north shore. A cable car runs to Snow View observation point (at 2,270m), with vistas over the town and mountains including Nanda Devi, Uttarakhand’s highest peak.
Day 01: Delhi – Rishikesh (230Kms / 6Hrs).
Meet at Delhi Airport/ Railway station/ Hotel & transfer to Rishikesh. Check in to your hotel at arrival in Rishikesh. Visit Tirveni Ghat for holy dip and evening Ganga Aarti. Return to your hotel. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at Rishikesh.
Day 02: Rishikesh Adventure activity.
Morning after breakfast, enjoy adventure activity in Rishikesh. Stay overnight at Rishikesh.
Adventure Activity : White Water Rafting, Bungy Jumping, Flying Fox & Giant Swing.
Day 03: Rishikesh - Chopta (170 Kms / 7 - 8 Hrs).
Morning after breakfast, drive for Chopta. In-route visit Devprayag and Ukhimath. Check in to the guest house at Arrival. Evening we will go for a short hike to stretch our leg muscles. Later enjoy bonfire. Dinner and Overnight stay in guest house.
Devprayag : Devprayag is where Alaknanda River and Bhagirathi rivers meet and take the name Ganga or Ganges River. Here you can also visit Raghunath Temple of Lord Ram.
Ukhimath : Ukhimath is Shiva Temple where idols from Kedarnath are worshipped in winter when Kedarnath Temple is not open.
Day 04: Chopta to Tungnath Chandrashila Trek and return (8 kms drive & 5 kms trek one way).
Morning after breakfast, start your trek to Chnadrashila - Tungnath. Enjoy breathtaking views of himalayas. The climb is demanding but short and extremely scenic. It will take about a couple of hours to reach Tungnath temple. Religious or non-religious does not matter, just sit by yourself for a few minutes in the courtyard of the temple with eyes closed you will feel very light! After a brief stop for refreshments and rest carry on with your climb to reach the summit of Chandrashilla peak at about 4000m. The effort is going to be rewarded multiple times with views which are surely unparalleled. From the summit you can see big Himalayan peaks (Nanda Devi, Trishul, Chaukhamba and many more) and surrounding valleys in all directions. After capturing the views in your camera start walking down to the base camp at Chopta Later return to Chopta. Dinner and Overnight stay in guest house.
Chandrashila : Chandrashila is summit of the Tungnath. It literally means "Moon Rock". It is located at a height of about 4,000 metres (13,000 ft) above sea level. This peak provides a spectacular view of Himalayas,especially Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks. There are various legends associated with this place. According to one of the popular legend, this is the place where Lord Rama meditated after defeating the demon-king Ravana.Another legend says that moon-god Chandra spent time here in penance.The Beauty of Chandrashila is Incredible.It is an impressive vantage point that offers 360 degrees panoramic views of the mighty Himalayas.This is a beautiful trek, with difficulty level rated as easy to moderate.
Tungnath : Tungnath is the highest Shiva temple in the world. The Tunganath (literal meaning: Lord of the peaks) mountains form the Mandakini and Alaknanda river valleys. Located at an altitude of 3,680 m (12,073 ft), and just below the peak of Chandrashila. The temple is believed to be 1000 years old. Temple is closed during Nov to April in winters.
Day 05: Chopta - Joshimath Via Chamoli (150 Kms / 5 - 6).
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and drive for Joshimath . Check inn into hotel at arrival in Joshimath. Evening free for your leisure and pleasure. Dinner & overnight stay at Joshimath.
Day 06: Joshimath - Auli by Cable Car.
Mornings have breakfast at hotel and later check out then take cable car for Auli from Joshimath. Check inn into hotel on arrival at Auli. Explore Auli Lake and Enjoy Snow Skiing. Stay overnight at Auli.
Day 07: Auli.
Morning after breakfast day free for your leisure and pleasure.
Day 08: Auli - Joshimath Kausani (200 kms/ 8-9 Hrs).
Morning have breakfast at hotel and drive for Kausani. Check inn into hotel on arrival at Kausani. If time permits explore Kausani sightseeing. Stay overnight at Kausani.
Day 09: Kausani Nainital (140Kms / 3-4Hrs Drive).
Morning after breakfast, drive for Nainital. Check in into your hotel on arrival at Nainital. Stay Overnight at Nainital.
Day 10: Nainital Sightseeing.
Morning after breakfast, enjoy the sightseeing of Nainital. Visit Nainia Devi Temple, Naini Lake, Sat Tal, Bhim Tal, Naukuchital, Zoo Garden & Observatory. After Lunch visit Mall Road Market by walk. After completing Nainital sightseeing drives back to Hotel. Stay overnight at Nainital.
Note : For Nainital Sightseeing we will provide Tavera Car because big vehicle can’t enter in Nainital town.
Day 11: Nainital Delhi drop (350Kms / 8 - 9 Hrs drive).
Morning after breakfast, drive for Delhi. Dropping at Delhi Airport/ Railway Station/ Hotel.
