Gujjars Dera Village Tour - Gujjars Village in Haridwar

This Tour provides opportunity to meet Gujjar people and know their culture. There are few small colonies known as Dera inside Rajaji National Park. The Tribe is also known as Van Gujjar or Gurjar. The Gujjars follow Islam religion. The Gujjars appeared in northern part of India around the time of the Huna invasions of north India. Gujjars their life is mainly dependent on cattle and selling milk in the city. These tribes were Hindus in past and took up Islam around 200 years ago. Some Gujjars can also speak Arabian language.

Tour Details

Tour starts at 14:30 from your hotel. Our guide will meet you at hotel and take you to the car. Later you will be guided to Rajaji National Park (11 kms far). After the tour we will drop you at Har Ki Pauri for evening Ganga Aarti.
